My wife and I both enjoy outdoor activities including gardening, cycling, hiking, snow skiing, fishing and spending time with our dog. Our vacation home in the White Mountains of Arizona provides a great weekend getaway with access to all of these activities for us and our Goldendoodle, Rock, who’s always ready to “go to the cabin.”
We enjoy traveling but always love coming home to Tucson’s casual lifestyle, great weather and tremendous variety of good restaurants. Our taste in restaurants leans toward the casual side with some of our favorites being Roberts, Tohono Chul Tea Room, or Café Jasper for breakfast, Red Sky Café and Montana Avenue for lunch and The J-Bar, Caruso’s, Tavelino and El Mezon Del Cobre for dinner.
For nearly 30 years I’ve been a member of The Centurions civic group which raises money for St. Mary’s hospital. As a past President and current board member of The Centurions I’m very proud of the group’s community involvement including raising over $3 million for St. Mary’s over the years. Our annual fund raising party was attended by more than 7,000 people last year!
